Running FOMO Spring Games x Everybody Runs
Wow, what a day! We are still buzzing from the energy of our very first Spring Games x Everybody RUN at the Gleisdreieck park. We expected the weather to be a bit warmer, but even with a slightly cooler spring day, the vibes were absolutely electric! Everyone moved so much that we stayed warm, and we still soaked up plenty of sun – and well the great energy was creating its own warmth!
This wasn't just another run; it was our chance to bring together a part of the incredible Berlin running community for a playful celebration of movement, connection, and some seriously fun competition. Seeing all your smiling faces made our day from the very start.
Our Everybody RUN: Inclusive and absolutely energetic
We kicked things off with the Everybody RUN, proudly powered by both Running FOMO and The Good Run. Before we hit the paths, our amazing Mariona led a fantastic warm-up that got everyone primed and ready. Then, I was honoured to pace a stream of runners ran a chill 3km loop through the beautiful Gleisdreieck Park.
The "Everybody" in Everybody RUN truly shines through every time. No matter your pace, no matter your vibe, you were welcome. We loved seeing you all embrace the loop course – it's those little moments of connection that make our community so special. After a refreshing and awakening run, it was time to hydrate and gear up for the main event!
The Spring Games: Pure Fun, Pure FOMO!
With everyone warmed up and spirits high, the real fun began: the Running FOMO Spring Games! We watched nine enthusiastic teams of four lined up, ready to tackle three brilliantly humorous challenges we created. What unfolded next was a pure blast, full of crazy photo finishes and, most importantly, beautiful smiles. It was genuinely heartwarming to see so many of you embracing your inner child, becoming adults happy like children again.
Game 1: The Egg and Spoon Race This classic was tougher than it looked! Teams carefully navigated a 75m in and out lane with an egg on a spoon. Drop it or break it, and it was burpee time – we heard groans, saw giggles, and witnessed some surprisingly agile recovery moves! Speed and steady hands were the name of the game here.
Game 2: The Balloon Pop This one brought teams literally closer! Two members had to run together with a balloon pressed between their bodies, trying to avoid any accidental pops or escapes. The synchronicity needed was both hilarious and impressive, leading to some wobbly but determined dashes across the finish line before the next pair took over.
Game 3: The Beer Mile (Alcohol-Free Edition!) Perhaps our most talked-about challenge! Huge thanks to BRLO Brwhouse, who provided each team member with a delicious non-alcoholic beer or Fassbrause. The mission? Chug your drink as fast as possible, then sprint 150m. We have to admit, it was not easy for everybody to chug a beer, which just added to the fun and the determination on display! As soon as one member crossed the line, the next was off, creating an exciting race to the finish!

Celebrating Our Champions and Our Community
After an entertaining series of games, it was time for the Winners Ceremony. We believe everyone's a winner when you come out and participate, so every single participant took home a beautiful, unique upcycled medal – our little sustainable thank you. The goodies kept coming, too! Thanks to our fantastic partners at Pillar Performance, every participant also received a high-quality shaker, a perfect reminder of a truly fantastic day.
Then came the moment to celebrate our top three teams. Huge congratulations to:
1. Bad Gals
2. Run With The Dots
3. Parcero

You guys were amazing, and honestly, every single team brought such incredible spirit and effort!
We rounded off the day with a raffle, where three lucky participants scored awesome goodie bags, generously provided by our partners Ciele Athletics and The Good Run.

More Than Just A Run: It's Our Community!
The Spring Games x Everybody RUN was so much more than just a day of running and games; it was a powerful reminder of the vibrant, supportive, and fun-loving community we're building here in Berlin.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to all of you who came out, ran, played, and cheered! And, of course, a huge shout-out to our incredible event partners: BRLO Brwhouse, Ciele Athletics, Pillar Performance, and The Good Run. Last but not least, a very special thank you to Kathi Hoffmann for her outstanding support in making this event such a success.
We can't wait to see you all at the next Running FOMO event, where the focus will always be on fun, inclusivity, and strengthening our incredible community. Keep those running shoes laced and your spirits high!
